Bringing the outside in...
“Le Moulin’s position in the heart of the village meant we had to be open it up,
to bring in even more warmth and comfort.
By giving it the style of a holiday house in the south of France,
we made it feel more like a home than a hotel.”

A VILLAGE IN PROVENCE

Authentic Luberon is everywhere: in the bluish-green garrigue landscape, with its dry-stone walls, jagged cypress alleys, blazing sun, and icy rivers, in the villages, such as Lourmarin with its sun-baked facades, friendly cats, Friday market, and lively streets. Real Provençal life.

ROOMS FOR LIVING

Sleep soundly, travel through the rough Provençal landscape with local authors, taste the region’s delicacies, be transported by the art on the walls, listen to the sounds of the village drifting into your room. At Le Moulin, each room is an invitation to share the real Provence.

BALANCING POINTS

Le Moulin strikes a fine balance between authenticity and style. In a palette of earth colours and white, the interior design is inspired by its location: the sisal on the floor matches the walls, perforated ceramic light fixtures suggest the past, while handmade chairs by Midi are inspired by local traditions. A new, more comfortable Provençal style is revealed.

ACCENTS

Dotted around the hotel – in rooms, the bar and restaurant – are books by the authors who wrote and rewrote Provence: Jean Giono, Albert Camus, Marcel Pagnol, Frédéric Mistral, and Henri Bosco. Their words are filled with lilting sun and colour, invitations to escape.
