We understand that driving by car in the Bernese Oberland offers a captivating experience. While Wengen is a car-free village, you can still plan to drive, with the option to finish your trip by train. We recommend driving to the Parkhaus Lauterbrunnen, conveniently connected with the train station on the 7th floor, followed by a 12-minutes spectacular train ride to Wengen. We advise booking your parking slot in advance.

The Swiss Federal Railways (SBB), is a trusted and efficient option to get to Wengen, offering starting points from the Zurich Airport, Geneva Airport, and all other major airports so you can step on board after your flight to Switzerland. Alternatively, there are also transfer stations at Interlaken Ost and Lauterbrunnen if you are traveling locally. To purchase your tickets, explore trip options on the SBB's website.

BY PLANE:

ZURICH AIRPORT (145 KM)

BASEL MULHOUSE FREIBURG EUROAIRPORT (180 KM)

GENEVA AIRPORT (225 KM)

If you are traveling to Switzerland from Zurich Airport, you can easily get to Wengen via the SBB service from the airport. Find the SBB travel Centre under the Airport Shopping area in the Check-in 3 area to purchase tickets, or pair your flight and train tickets together via the SWISS Air Rail. For travellers from Geneva Airport, the SBB station is only a five-minute walk from the Departures and Arrivals level, so you can continue your journey to Wengen efficiently. Traveling from the Zurich Airport by SBB will typically take around three hours, meanwhile travel from the Geneva Airport will take around four hours.
